Name That Art!

Today SGK studio is proud to introduce the world of a new and exciting app called Art Tech. We will be launching this app on April, 20th.

Art Tech is a social media app that has many other features. The main purpose of the app is to provide information of a piece of art work that you captured on your phone at the time. The app will also give you suggestions of similar works of art that I've done that maybe of interest to you.

For fun there is a quiz section to test your knowledge of various art related questions. This is also a quiz you can compete with your friends or other artists.

The last benefit of Art Tech is the forums that fellow artist use to connect and brain storm creative ideas to one another.

SGK studio will be celebrating 4 months of business, and to celebrate we are honoring YOU, our most valuable customers, with Customer Appreciation Week!

Customer Appreciation Week runs April 12-18, and kicks off with a Semi-Annual Storewide Sale on April 12. Our entire collection is on sale! All retail store items are 40% off for people of the local or nearby communities. This event continues on April 13 with FREE Open Studio during store hours from 12-5pm. Drop in anytime with friends or family and enjoy free art-making in our Make and Take room. Great activity for family fun!

Earth Day was first celebrated 45 years ago, in 1970 and has been educating the general public about how to recycle, reduce and reuse. This day was also made to inspire more people to initiate their own ideas and strive for change.

In honor of Earth Day, SGK studio's art will be environmentally conscious and use a wide variety of recycled materials this month! This method of art is called “upcycling", which is literally turning everyday trash into creative treasures.

All the artwork that I sell out of the recycle section for each piece 30% will be donated to Keep America Beautiful.
